Data Engineer

Job Description:

• Creating and maintaining an optimal pipeline architecture for data warehouse and reports.
• Identifying, designing and implementing internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes.
• Building required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various data sources including internal application data using SQL technologies.
• Building analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insight into key business performance metrics including operational efficiency and customer acquisition.
• Working with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to support data infrastructure needs while assisting with data-related technical issues.

Qualification:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages. (e.g., Python, NodeJS)
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Knowledge of database management systems, both relational (e.g., SQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational. (e.g., MongoDB)
• Familiarity with data integration and ETL tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
